Tulipes.ca farm boats more than 500,00 tulips in a wide variety of colors. Just seeing the rows of beautiful flowers is worth the visit! Not to mention the Instagrammable photos you can take! And did I mention you also get to pick your own tulips while there?
The u-pick Tulip farm, located just north of Montreal, was originally scheduled to open May 10th, but with the harsh never-ending winter, it was delayed and will be opening Saturday, May 18th.
The farm is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Entry prices are $8 for adults and $6 for children 5 & under on weekdays and $10 for adults and $7 for children 5 & under on weekends. You can also pre-buy tulips you plan to pick of $10 for 12 or $20 for 30 tulips. You can buy your tickets online here.
PROTIP: Tulipes.ca provides everything you need to pick the flowers but does recommend bringing a bucket to keep your fresh-cut flowers in water as you take them home. They even provide a wrapping station if you plan to give as gifts.
What better start to spring than with the official flower of spring!
Special Events
The farm will be offering flower arranging demonstrations on the weekends and also have kiosks selling locally sourced products.
They also have a special yoga Saturday May 18th by Echo Alhoa and Pascale Roy Lafontaine. The yoga costs $20 and you get to pick 12 tulips with your session. The yoga class is 11-12:15 and you must bring your own yoga mat.
Want the Best Tulip Photo?
If you are looking for the best Instagram photo you’ll want to reserve a section of the farm for your photoshoot. For $75/hour a section of the farm will be reserved and no customers will be able to access your location… so NO people in your background! Just you and the flowers. Great idea for weddings, baby pictures, girls weekends or just because you want a pretty picture in a field of tulips!
