Sometimes when you sit to write a story it ends up taking a completely different angle than from where you started. When writing a story about kid travel in New York for Family Fun Canada I had so many different angles, I think I wrote about 8 different stories.
Family Fun Canada
The story they chose was a version that highlighted no matter how many plans and itineraries you have when traveling, sometimes you get off the beaten path and it’s the best thing for you. Being in New York City there are so many things you can do and see, we had planned to see them all. For one weekend I was going to be like the Pinterest moms and have the perfect weekend. That did not happen. We did not see the Statue of Liberty or Central Park, but the weekend we had was far greater than we could have expected. One of the best things is that because we didn’t see everything we have a reason for another trip to New York!
